Cage Cashier / Vault Clerk

Cage Cashier/Vault Clerk will fill in each position as needed. They will be required to adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures and Title 31 requirements. The individual must have knowledge of which forms to complete on Jackpot payouts

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Counts and verifies all funds into assigned banks.
Total operations of the vault.
Issues the banks for each department.
Maintain proper paperwork for daily vault activity.

Drop and Soft Count Team Member 

Drop and Soft Count Team Member
Perform the daily cash drop and count of gaming machines.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Pulls cash canisters from machines in a timely manner, making sure all machine numbers are matching with machines. Counts cash and vouchers for the day, making sure all totals match and all mistakes are fixed before leaving for the day. Must adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and casino policies and procedures. Title 31 requirements and knowledge to stay within the law. Must work weekends and holidays as required

F&B – Bar Back

Provide excellent service to all guest while taking and serving beverage orders. Provide assistance to the bar staff when it is needed. Engage all casino guest in a professional manner. Keep a positive attitude in a fast paced and busy environment.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Is responsible for the service of beverages to the guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
Keep floor beverage stations stocked.

F&B – Hostess

GENERAL SUMMARIES OF DUTIES: The first impression any customer gets of the restaurant and its standard of service is usually from the hostess. The ability to be hospitable is an essential skill for this position. Always give our guests a warm friendly immediate greet at the door. Seat and present clean menus to guest in a friendly, professional and quick manner

DUTIES: (INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO)
• Greet and seats guests, presents menus, informs them of daily specials and soups.
• All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guest’s expectations.
• Take names on a waiting list.
• Run the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quote wait times to guest accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
• Answers the phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guest as they leave to ensure positive dining experience.
• Take to go orders for our guests.
• Cash out customers, allocate the waitress tips to their boxes, run revenue reports.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: must have excellent communication skills, must understand and comply with all restaurant procedures, policies and regular requirements. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.  

F&B – Busser

Provide excellent service to all guest. Provide assistance to the restaurant staff. Engage all casino guest in a professional manner. Keep a positive attitude in a fast paced and busy environment.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Is responsible for the service of clearing and clean the restaurant tables for the guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Assist restaurant staff, refill customer drinks and food run.
Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.

F&B – Steward/
Dishwasher 

The kitchen dishwasher is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly ware and utensils. Meanwhile ensuring his/her pit area is clean and organized. Side projects are common for example small food preparation and weekly cleaning projects.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
Sweep or scrub floors.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup area.
Receive and store supplies.
Prepare and package individual place settings.

F&B – Line Cook

Line cooks are responsible for the preparation and execution of menu food items. Ensuring they are consistent and of high standards. Also they uphold all sanitary/safety procedures, and ensure weekly cleaning duties are met.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Set up stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, slicing meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Answer, report and fallow executive chef’s instructions.
Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
Stock inventory appropriately.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Comply with sanitation and safety procedures.

F&B – Prep Cook 

A prep cook’s general duties include keeping all food up to standard set by kitchen executive staff. Ensuring Product is available for execution for line staff and rotating product in the kitchen in a first out fashion. Labeling and dating all product prepared. Executing all kitchen recipes and maintaining a professional work ethic.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
A Prep Cook’s role is to assist in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, and putting together entrees. In addition to a Prep Cook’s food preparation duties, a prep cook may also be responsible for completing a large number of smaller task. Such task could include ensuring that leftover food is stored properly, preforming kitchen maintenance such as emptying the trash and washing the dishes, and testing the temperature of food at specified intervals. Rarely, certain restaurants and other establishments will require their prep cooks to also prepare tables and deliver dishes to dining patrons.

Prep Cook

F&B – Waiter/
Waitress / Food Runner

The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the restaurant. Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation task.
Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
Obtaining revenues, accepting payments, returning the change.
Performing basic cleaning task as needed or directed by supervisor.
Filling in for absent staff as needed.
Assisting with special events as needed.
Greet all guest and owners warmly with an appropriate greeting.
Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.

Gaming Machine Tech

Gaming Machine Techs repair minor errors, process/ payout jackpots, resolve customer issues, assist with moves/conversions, preventative maintenance and are responsible for the cleanliness of all gaming machine games.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Must be mobile and able to monitor the gaming machine floor for several hours.
In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee Is regularly required to talk clearly and hear, required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Lift 20+ pounds.
Reliable source of transportation and way of communication.

Gift Shop

The first impression any customer gets of the Gift Shop and its standard of service is from the attendant. The ability to be hospitable is an essential skill for this position. Always give our guests a warm friendly immediate greeting at the door. Attendants are stationed in the Gift Shop and are on their feet or sitting throughout their shift. They must maintain a neat appearance and always be courteous to guests.

DUTIES: (INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO)
• Greet and assist guests as needed.
• All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guest’s expectations.
• Observes guests while ensuring loss prevention.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks merchandise in Gift Shop.
• Answers the phone and answers questions concerning inventory and pricing.
• Interacts with guest as they leave to ensure a positive experience.
• Cash out customers, run revenue reports, and balance till. 

Gift

Housekeeper 

Performs General Housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors. Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, the objective of High Winds Casino, internal policies, and procedures and controls, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Cleaning the casino.
Emptying the trash.
Sweeping, vacuuming and moping.
Cleaning the restrooms.
Emptying ash trays.
Needs to be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift 20+ pounds repeatedly.
May need to be able to climb a ladder.

Player’s Club Rep

To enroll and maintain correct information on guest into casino database and explain and execute promotions and assist guest with Red Card free play and point redemption.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Resolves minor customer conflicts, which relate to Player’s Club.
Enroll guests in the Player’s Club Database.
Provide smooth, courteous and efficient service to customers.
Make announcements on microphone and create excitement in the casino.

Maintenance

Maintenance
Preforms Maintenance and General Housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors. Preforms all duties in accordance with company core values, the objective of High Winds Casino, internal policies, procedures and controls, as well as laws and gaming regulations. 
TYPICAL PHYSICAL/ MENTAL DEMANDS AND DUTIES (INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
• Walk and stand for long periods of time
• Lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
• Must be able to work on ladders and roofs with heights up to 35 feet
• Vison impairment must be communicated to the employer (color Blind)
• Intensive labor in harsh conditions will be required
• Must be able to utilize Personal Protective Equipment in accordance with OSHA standards
• Must be able to respond to emergencies such as medical, evacuations and fire.
PREFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• The ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• May require the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with person computers, gaming devices and safety equipment, etc.
• Must have basic knowledge of 120V- 240V electrical wiring and electrical devices.
• HVAC experience is preferred
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• Maintenance experience is preferred but not required
• Read and write effectively 

Security Officer

Security Officer will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the Security Manager. The Security Officer will provide maximum security for all Gaming Property, guests and assets.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Maintain logs and/or records of activity during the scheduled shift.
Work as a team with other security staff and departments.
Patrols and checks, periodically, internal and outside perimeters of gaming establishment.
Must adhere to the strict confidentially of all information.
Guard the gaming establishment’s property from fire, theft and vandalism.
Prepare daily incident reports.
Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs.
Provides First Aid when necessary.

Surveillance Agent  

Surveillance Agent
Gaming Surveillance Agents act as oversight and security agent for management and customers. Observe casino or casino operation for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by either employees or patrons. The use of audio/video equipment is also common to observe the operation of the business. Usually required to provide verbal and written reports of all violations and suspicious behavior to supervisors.
